WEEK 25 FEELS:

This past week I've been busy prepping for a big exciting project... I'll try to share next week and I've also played/watched a lot of baseball. One doesn't really go with the other... Oh and it's officially summer this week! Anyways... here are my WEEK 25 FEELS:

What I’m Pinning - Visual Inspiration:
Picnics. In the first warm months of the year, when the nights are long and the temperatures are rising, I love to walk down the street to the park or even out to our backyard to have picnics. I'm loving these cute little picnic styles that are so beautiful, but in reality we always try to bring as few things as possible... so I'm kind of dreaming here...

Life Things:
Yesterday was Father's Day and my family spent our day with my dad at the Blue Jays game. I've stumbled upon these images a bunch of times... I'm very curious if and where these stadium chairs exist. Imagine cheering on the Blue Jays in these pastel pink seats!! LOLZ

I Made It:
Yesterday was Father's Day - HAPPY (belated) FATHER'S DAY to all the awesome dads out there (especially mine). This is a Father's Day DIY I created for Babiekins Magazine last year. You can really switch it and make it for any occasion (best mom, #1 brother, fave teacher etc.) Such an easy and cute gift. The trophies are from a party or dollar store. You can see the full tutorial here. PS. those are my husbands hands :)

WEEK 24 FEELS

It finally feels like summer around here and I'm loving it! Summer officially doesn't start until next week, but temperatures well into the 30s definitely feels like summer to me! The warmth in the air makes me happy and everything just feels right.... but it is still important to keep cool and hydrated. These are all things that will keep me cool. Here are my WEEK 24 FEELS:

Mmmm:
All the ice cream, please. There are SO many crazy ice cream trends right now. There seems to be a new extreme ice cream joint at every corner. To be honest, I'm pretty good with a simple cone. Also, most of those crazy places I can't even try because of my peanut allergy... oh well - I'll take a mint chocolate chip, please!

What I need in my life: Water bottles
I need a new water bottle and I find it so hard to choose. Is it too heavy, does it wash well, is it big enough? Will it dent? Everyday vs. Workout etc. I probably need more than one new water bottle. One for home, one for my gym bag, one in the car... decisions, decisions, decisons.

WEEK 23 FEELS:

This past week flew by. Nothing crazy just the usual - work and life! I did end my last travel weekend of the season, so I am looking forward to more casual weekends in the city. So, here is a mishmash of my WEEK 23 FEELS:

Work Things
This past weekend was the last stop of the Cityline and President's Choice #EatTogether #Canada150 nationwide tour. Since March, I've had the privilege of travelling across Canada to film commercials to celebrate Canada's birthday. We hosted a free lunch by President's Choice Executive Head Chef Tom and Cityline's Tracy Moore bringing Canadians together around the table. All the menus were inspired by the local regions. It was such a special opportunity to not only see and experience beautiful Canada but to meet incredible people from across the nation. Look out for the commericals all month long leading up to the big day!

I Made It:
A few weeks back Reena Newman and I had a day full of colour fun in studio. I just got the finals and I am SO excited to share. How awesome are they? It was so neat seeing my colour-blocked vision come to life!

Props I need in my life:
I am loving these moody textured ceramics. I kind of want them all.

WEEK 22 FEELS:

This week went by super quick! Probably because it was a short one... but a lot happened. Keep reading to hear all about it and all of my WEEK 22 FEELS:

Life Things:
I went to Vegas last weekend (as you know) and I came home to an Airstream! I went away and my husband bought a 1975 (24') original Airstream (close up pictured above)! I can't wait to see the adventures this guy takes us on. But first, we have a lot of work ahead of us. So excited to flip and design it. Oh, the ideas are flowing! I will definitely be posting more inspiration and process pics here.

I Made It:
Earlier this week I has the honour to work with the talented Lauren Miller. We started our day with a wander to St. Lawrence Market to pick up a few items. We then went back to her home studio, where we had lots of fun making pretty! These are a few behind the scenes sneak peaks. Can't wait to share the finals!

Wear It:
I've been travelling so much this Spring (4 out of the past 5 weekends!). Some has been for work, some for pleasure... either way, I always struggle to find the perfect airplane travel outfit. I was in Nova Scotia last weekend and next weekend I am off to Montreal (and then I'm done with flying for a bit... summer road trips - here I come!) Anyways, I want to look cute and put-together (especially when travelling for work) but comfort is everything for me. Ugh - I always feel like I look like I'm in my pajamas! The struggle is real!

WEEK 21 FEELS:

So I just arrived back from my girls weekend in Las Vegas! I can now say I've experienced Vegas and understand the saying: What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas. It really is a bizarre, out of this world, crazy kind of place. The whole time I felt - this can only happen in Vegas! Based on this amazing #thisis30 weekend, here are my WEEK 21 FEELS:

See It:
If you ever make it out to Vegas my #1 recommendation would be The Neon Museum. It is an exhibition of iconic Las Vegas signs throughout the years. It is a great way to learn about the city and find out some neat historical facts. You'll feel like a kid in a candy store. There is so much to see and so much incredible design details.

Fashion Finds:
Our first night out we went to a club where Kygo was playing. Somehow we found ourselves backstage and had a super unique experience. I've been listening to Kygo since I've been back and discovered that he's not only a talented musician but a clothing designer as well! Totally loving his Scandinavian designed classic, organic, clothing basics.
